Battle of the Belt

This annual program was developed to reduce the number of motor-vehicle-related injuries and fatalities among Missouri high school students by increasing seatbelt usage. Battle of the Belt is a six-week-long program, where schools conduct observational safety belt surveys before and after an educational campaign at the school. Various supplies and resources are made available to participating schools.

Buckle Buddy

Once upon a time, there was a young dragon named Buddy. He was full of energy and loved to laugh and play! Day after day Buddy would play at his house until it was time to pick up his big sister after school.

One day when Buddy and his mom were almost at the school, another driver accidentally ran into the back of their car! Buddy learned a very good lesson that day and decided to share the lesson with other people.
